These are my favorite tips for eating well and keeping on track with your health goals!

  • Veggies are amazing for you, but some will help you reach your goals faster. I rank veggies in this order:

    • Raw

    • Frozen

    • Cooked

    • Here is why - raw veggies have lots of fiber, are filling, and are easy snacks. Bonus points for raw celery and cauliflower because they actually burn more energy than you’re consuming. Frozen veggies are amazing because they are loaded in nutrients. They are flash frozen at peak ripeness, so you’re getting the best of what they have to offer your body. Cooked veggies are delicious and should be enjoyed, but most cooked veggies are usually starchy veggies (good for you, but definitely something to pay attention to if you’re trying to lose weight) and have sauces, oils, butter, salt, etc added. The goal is to get the most “bang for your buck” with your veggies.

  • Keep easy food in your fridge and freezer - I have a list of my go to’s here: (LINK food I keep around)
